Awesome game play, good concept, love the music. It's very soothing and goes well with the themes and the back story of the game. Really like the end.
I guess the only thing I would've liked is more levels, this ended too shortly.
Still, good job overall.

As usual it's pretty cool. I really feel like you guys sold out though. The whole mochi games thing, nobody really buys that crap. It leaves a lot more people feeling alienated because they aren't able to achieve everything in the game.
I don't like this new upgrade system where you have to get an upgrade before getting another one instead of being able to choose which ugrades you want to get, so if I don't want long range it doesn't matter I still have to pay for it.

It's a simple yet addictive game, it gets kind of boring though, not a lot of variety. I like that you made it capable of customization, but even then, I won't play more than one run through.
I had a similar game on my TI-83 graphic calc.
Overall it was pretty cool!

Great game guys, once again you produce some great material. I think it would have been nice to see what the rating you get for each mission. It shows after you complete it, but it doesn't show it once you're in the menu to pick a mission. Can't tell which ones I need to redo to get 5 star ratings!
Medals are working great, but they aren't showing on the submission page... Is that intentional?

the chicks with dicks reference was funnier than anything else.
Is it a bug that you can't kill enemies if you are out of their "effective" range or did you make it to be that way.

Yeah that was intentionnal, otherwise you would be able to just sit there and kill enemies without them being able to do anything (in other words, I was too lazy to code enemies jumping up and down)

But please, don't make it so that it opens up to your website every time you hit the retry button. It gets really annoying when you want to retry the game. Otherwise nice game, maybe make the instructions a little clearer.

Your first image is red, and you can't read what the images say for posts. You should include the chat. That's pretty interesting. But yea, this could've just been posted in the forums later instead of made into a flash, nice effort anyway. You missed a lot of words, I don't remember most of them but you can figure it out by writing words in your comments on your userpage, then seeing the results, then editing, pressing back etc... You get the point i'm sure.

Really simple, but yet really funny. You totally got me into thinking the monster was going to kill the kid.
Graphically, the style is awesome.
Your sound effects are really cool.
The story was really funny.
I give this a good 9.

I saw you said you were still working this out, so I wanted to give you a good review. I really like the concept, and of course it's a classic genre, but I like the way you had the cartoony type of stuff, when the meteors are shot and with the story.
You definitely need to speed up the background though, even if it still remains stars which is probably easier to draw than a lot of other things. It just makes it look too slow. I like the way the firing works, but it gets pretty easy fast, so you probably want to make the meteors or enemies have more hits to take. That or give upgrades slower.
At one point during the moon fight, it went haywire, the score and the lives continuously going up, that might be what you were talking about in your comments, but I thought I'd let you know.
Other than that, I can't wait to see what you do with this game and hope you develop it to the best it can be.
